03 Jun ‘White Lies’ at the Melbourne Magic Festival 2017
An original show produced and Presented by Pierre Ulric, Perth Illusionist
Following SOLD OUT shows at Perth Fringe World, Perth Illusionist Pierre Ulric returns to the Melbourne Magic Festival in July 2017 with a new and exciting production.
Running for FIVE SHOWS ONLY from the 11th to the 15th of July, White Lies delves into mysterious aspects of the world; investigating the nature of humans and our perceptions of time. Audiences will experience psychological illusions, mind control, and visual hallucinations in this dynamic hour long performance.
Set against a background of music, multimedia visuals and deadpan humour, Melbourne magic lovers will have their minds read, loose their senses and encounter visual hallucinations where objects melt, bend and levitate be-fore their very eyes. White Lies is entertaining and thought provoking theatrical surrealism at its best.
A Perth Illusionist, Pierre Ulric migrated to Australia from his native Canadian province of Québec nineteen years ago. He has been involved in the craft for over 25 years and is recognised as an accomplished performer on the scene, having received several peer awards and nominations.
He works from an understanding that magic is a powerful communication and expression medium and his love for mystery performance work has been embraced by delighted, unsuspecting audiences all around the world.
